Charlie Cresswell’s Millwall loan is set to be cut short.
The defender arrived at Millwall in the summer on a season-long loan deal and has yet to become a mainstay in the Lions’ first team this season.
The defender has played 15 times in the Championship this season and scored four goals, two of which came against Stoke City on the opening day.
Increasingly likely that Leeds United will look to bring Charlie Cresswell back from his loan at Millwall. Hasn’t been a mainstay in league games there and Championship interest in him has started materialising elsewhere:https://t.co/OJAMmPm3N9

Leeds’ reporter for The Athletic, Phil Hay, is now reporting that the Elland Road outfit will look to recall Cresswell with interest from other Championship clubs who could perhaps give the central defender more game time.
Cresswell featured heavily at the start of the campaign but Gary Rowett’s decision to switch from a five man defence to a four has seen Cresswell’s game time reduced as the manager has preferred the seasoned partnership of Shaun Hutchinson and Jake Cooper.
