Tom Bradshaw produced a fine first-half display as Millwall secured their third successive win.

The Welsh international scored his first-ever league hat-trick in a breathtaking first-half performance from the Lions. Bradshaw’s first came in just the eighth minute. George Long’s ball was badly dealt with by the Watford defence and fell to Bradshaw to give the Lions the lead.

His second came 26 minutes in. Mason Bennett’s brilliant work down the left-hand side was rewarded as Bradshaw was there to finish from two yards out.

Watford were shellshocked, Millwall’s superb attacking play is something the fans had been begging to see for so long and tonight they finally got to see it.

The Lions made it 3-0 on 33 minutes, Bradshaw completing his hat-trick with a fine goal. Jake Cooper won the initial header from a free-kick allowing Bradshaw to pick the ball up and finish superbly past Daniel Bachmann.

As you might expect, things calmed down in the second half, Yaser Asprilla did a fire shot over, Joao Pedro’s introduction did make Watford a little more effective in the final third, but nothing to worry George Long.

The win see’s the Lions move up to eighth in the Championship table and they now sit just one point behind fourth-placed Norwich.
