Gary Rowett is reportedly not in line for the West Bromwich Albion managerial role.
The Lions boss’s odds shortened late last night to fuel speculation about a move to The Hawthorns.
There were even some articles suggesting the Baggies wanted to speak to Rowett about the vacancy following Steve Bruce’s sacking last week.
But now Simon Stone from the BBC says Rowett is not in line for the role.
The reporter adds that he doesn’t fit the template that Chief Executive Ron Gourlay is looking for.
Millwall’s next match is against Bristol City on Saturday and it looks as though Rowett will be in the dugout as the Lions looking to get their first away win of the season.
