Spread the love

MILLWALL host Huddersfield Town on Saturday  at 3 pm. If you’re planning on attending the game, it’s important to know the best transportation options to get to The Den.

By Train

The quickest and most common way to reach The Den is by train via South Bermondsey station. However, due to a strike action, there will be no train services running to the station on the day of the match. So, it’s advised to check your journey before leaving.

Alternative Stations

Fortunately, there are other nearby stations that you can use instead. These include Surrey Quays and London Bridge, from which the Jubilee Line will be available to travel to Bermondsey. From Bermondsey station, it’s a 20-minute walk to The Den. But remember, the strike action may also affect some of these stations, so make sure to check your journey in advance.

By Bus

If you prefer to travel by bus, there are numerous bus routes stopping in close proximity to The Den. These include:

  • 21, 53, and 172, which stop at Old Kent Road
  • P12, which stops at Ilderton Road
  • 1 and 381, which stop at Rotherhithe New Road
  • 47, 188, and 225, which stop at Surrey Quays

Plan Your Journey

Regardless of the mode of transport you choose, it’s always best to plan your journey ahead of time, especially during strike actions. You can check the latest travel updates and plan your journey by visiting the official website of Transport for London or by downloading their app.
