Millwall’s FA Cup journey came to an end at the hands of Sheffield United at The Den on Saturday.
Two first half goals from the Blades condemned the Lions to a third straight, third round exit following defeats to Bristol City and Crystal Palace in the previous two seasons.

The Blades started the better side and N’Diaye took the advantage but could only fire wide of the target in the opening minute.

The Blades’ fast start was gaining momentum N’Diaye’s shot was blocked by the Millwall defence, forcing a corner from which Jack Robinson headed wide

Tommy Doyle receives the ball in the centre of the box but his effort is too high and does not trouble Bartosz Bialkowski.

Millwall struggle to deal with a blades corner, the ball comes to Robinson but he see’s his effort blocked for another corner.

It’s been coming, the Blades have been on top and they have finally put their pressure to good use. Doyle sets up Daniel Jebbison who fires into the bottom corner to fire the visitors in front.

The Lions finally force a chance..well half a chance. Andreas Voglsammer’s shot from outside the box is blocked.

Tom Bradshaw, Millwall’s only recognised striker, has had a tough afternoon so far, he has a go from outside the box but his effort is blocked.
36 mins: Bogle doubles Blades’ lead
A second Blades goal, this time it’s Jayden Bogle the right back breaks into the box, he is found by N’Diaye and fires in past Bialkowski.
37 mins: Honeyman responds
George Honeyman tees up a shot from the edge of the box but likes his teammates efforts so far has seen his effort blocked.

Rotherham are in, Connor Washington goes past Bart but somehow he blasts his effort over the bar.

Half time substitute Zian Flemming has an effort from outside the box but, his effort drops wide of the left hand post.
60 mins: Doyle denied by Bart!
The Pole who kept his place for this tie denies Doyle the chance to get on the scoresheet, making the save at the right post. Jebbison is unable to take advantage sending his effort over the bar.
62: N’Diaye again
He’s been dangerous all afternoon, this time he strikes from outside the box but its blocked by the Lions defence.
72: Bogle denied
He’s been on the scoresheet once already today and Bart has denied him a second. Another shot from inside the Lions box.
74 mins: Vogi spurns a chance
The German is looking to add to his one goal for the club so far and he should have done better here. The ball comes to him inside the box but his shot veers off to the left.
75 mins: Norwood goes for goal
Oliver Norwood scored here when the Lions lost 2-0 to the Blades in the fourth round a few years ago, but his effort is no trouble for Bart.
